MEMBA is not a generic program based on imported models and short guest lectures. MEMBA features a clearly and precisely structured curriculum. Each module builds on the previous one; participants complete project tasks between modules based on their company, and the final assignment is a group business plan for a new project of their own design. The program enrolls only once a year, allowing the entire cohort to start, live through, and complete the program together. This approach provides an advantage over flexible models, ensuring a strong community, shared experience, and lasting bonds throughout the program. It ensures that what is learned is immediately tested and applied in real business settings.
In the MEMBA program, the final project is not just an academic task – it’s an opportunity to turn ideas into real business ventures. Participants vote on the most promising initiatives, form teams, and develop concrete proposals for new businesses or expansions of existing ones. This process tests their strategic, analytical, and leadership skills, and the best projects do not remain on paper – successful ventures and companies currently operating in the market have emerged from past cohorts.
Two modules of the program are held in Shanghai and Lausanne, where MEMBA participants not only attend prestigious educational institutions but also participate in intensive lectures and work with top international experts. In addition to the academic part, participants visit leading global companies, meet business leaders, and analyze concrete market strategies. This experience provides deeper insight into international business, exposure to diverse leadership approaches, and opportunities to establish global contacts.

Capstone Project on the MEMBA Program

The final thesis represents the culmination of the MEMBA program, enabling students to apply the knowledge and skills they have acquired in a real business context. This project assignment provides participants the opportunity to demonstrate their understanding of the key competencies developed throughout the program, as well as their ability for strategic thinking, teamwork, and high-level decision-making.

Capstone Project on the MEMBA Program

The thesis is carried out in teams of at least three and at most five members, simulating a dynamic business environment where leaders collaborate to solve complex challenges. Although the initiatives that teams may develop vary, all final projects fall into one of three key areas:

  • Development and/or reorganization of an existing business
  • Development of a new business (start-up)
  • Project design for a nonprofit or non-governmental organization

The project team acts as the Executive or Management Board and defends its proposal before the decision-making body, which consists of a commission made up of experienced practitioners and/or potential investors. This process ensures that the projects do not remain merely academic exercises but have practical value and potential for implementation.

 

The candidate enrollment process for the MEMBA program

The admission process for the MEMBA program is designed to ensure that each candidate has the experience and motivation to participate in the program. The application process consists of four key stages:

Application for the MEMBA Program

The first step in the application process is to complete a non-binding application on the Mokrogorska Business School website. By doing this, you express your interest in the program and enable our team to get acquainted with your professional profile.

Interview with a representative of Mokrogorska Business School

After we receive your application, our team will carefully review it and contact you to schedule an initial interview. This 30-minute conversation aims to assess your motivation and expectations, as well as to determine whether the MEMBA program is the right fit for your professional ambitions.

Entrance interview with the Director of Career Development

This is a key step in the application process. The interview with the MEMBA Program Director lasts 45 minutes and focuses on your professional goals and how MEMBA can contribute to achieving them. Additionally, at this stage, the final decision regarding the candidate's admission to the program is made.

Enrollment in the MEMBA program

If you successfully pass all the previous stages, the program director will provide you with an official acceptance letter and contract. After signing the contract, your enrollment is complete — you become part of the exclusive MEMBA community and begin a development journey that will advance your career.
